This track was recorded in 2004, at a party I threw in my backyard. My guests were treated to a guest performance by my good friends from Dynamic Stew! The stew served up the funk and invited me up to join them for a set. I have the full set recorded but it’s not tracked out completely. It will be shortly for the two people who asked for it It’s 2006 LOL! Time for another party!

In any case I did manage to track out a Led Zeppelin medley we kicked out. We played a Good Times Bad Time/ Whole Lotta Love jam. I had just purchased a Line 6 Spider II amp the week before and I had some treble problems but I managed to get through it! I even lay down a solo! I had a killer time and look forward to jamming with the Stew again!

My first 4 track splicer!, I need some real audio gear! why, because I used my Alienware to capture the four tracks of this song, bass, rhythm, solo and drums. All recorded one at a time through my Audigy Platinum.

I used Adobe Audition to mix them together and add some effects on the guitar. Took about a half hour to make, and it’s really raw but I think a real recording solution shall be pursued. I am also looking into a microphone to record my acoustic and also some sort of workstation.

Yea this is corny, but I like it! I busted out my bass guitar, my Dr. Rythym drum machine and Traktor DJ mixing software. I recorded a few little audio clips mixed the bass an drums with Audigy and looped the beat in Traktor. After goofing around with the software I think the DJ effects sound ok, but I am biased!

Testing 1 2 3…Is this thing on? Yo, this is a phat little way to get your podcast on! I installed a wordpress blog and downloaded a plug in called podpress. I hacked a simple template and I am up and running!

It’s awesome, it took me 25 mins of playing around with it to get it working. I have to figure out how to count the downloads. I don’t know how I messed that up. Tony?
